Mary Katrantzou S/S 2012 RTW
Who else is completely blown away by Mary Katrantzou's S/S collection?? I can honesty say I would wear almost every piece. As you view her work, please notice some of her incredible detail. Mary actually appliqued pieces of tin into the fabric, and also used close-up prints of abstract metal objects. This aspect was inspired by John Chamberlain's crush-car sculptures. The toughness of metal and vibrant colored-fabrics make for an uncommon, yet very unique look. I'm totally digging! Even the styling- harsh lips and soft hair... it's perfect. Truly a mixed media masterpiece!
