I was born in the wrong decade
I have a vintage hat collection that seems to keep growing after every flea market and vintage shop I go to. So when I discovered these lovely hats, I died! Each cap is handmade, and available for purchase. Although they're a bit pricey, I still think it's a wonderful item that will make any outfit playful and unique.

Moonrise Kingdom
I just saw this trailer for the new Wes Anderson film, Moonrise Kingdom! It looks altogether witty and beautiful. I'm very excited to see it when it hits the theaters!
Guy Laramee
Looks like this wasn't the only book surgeon in town. Guy Laramee is also a brilliant sculptor who uses books as his primary medium for creating amazing scenes and landscapes. The incredible detail of each piece blows me away... it's hard believe they were once plain-old books.

Love potion?
Can you fall in love with an individual based on their scent? Of course I thought this question was absurd, but a friend, Nick Lehnert, strongly believes it's very possible. After a mini debate, he gave me an [unreliable] source explaining its likelihood and the science behind human body oder. After reading it through, I'm still not convinced of this idea... that is, until I came across this fragrance ad campaign by Yves Saint Laurent. This very compelling, short, film makes it clear that fragrance is like cupid's arrow. I've never been a perfume girl, but now I'm starting to think I need to buy myself a little love potion.

Peek-a-boo
I've had my fare share of salon gossip and hair extensions... but I couldn't resist this hair DIY by fellow blogger, Shini Park. She is so adorable, especially with her "dash of blush".
